How to Help

If you want to help the Rust family, but are unsure how, here is a brief list of things that you can do to help Brianne and her family.

• Pray.  We ask that you pray for Brianne's healing from head-to-toe.  For her body to be rid of cancer and for the strength that she will need during this time

• Give Blood.  The blood banks are in desperate need of blood year round.  These blood banks are where Brianne has been getting her transfusions from.  If you are able, please take the time to donate.  We can not donate directly to Brianne, but we can donate in her name.  For more information about how to donate please visit the Arizona United Blood Services Website.

• Donate.  Right now we are looking for items for the silent auction that will benefit the Rust family. Please take a moment to review the following list of donation ideas and see if you think that you can help.  We are looking for gift baskets of new items, large ticket items and gift cards/certificates.  You will be surprised how many are willing to donate if you just take the time to ask.  We will also have a limited number of vendor spaces available for those who wish to donate a portion of their profit to the Rust family.  If you have any questions about donations, vendor spaces or would like to drop off a donation, please contact Hillary at (480) 588-8687 or at hillarycappel@gmail.com.

• Your personal company, side business or employer

• Your friends, family or coworkers businesses or employers

• Your child's dance studio, karate class, swim instructor, etc.

• Your salon, favorite restaurant or boutique

• Signed memorabilia or tickets to events 

• Gift Cards or Gift Certificates

• Volunteer.  We will need lots of volunteers the day of the silent auction.  If you would like to help out on July 21st, please email Hillary at hillarycappel@gmail.com and put "Silent Auction Volunteer" in the subject line.  We will get back to you with more information as soon as we can.

• Get the word out.  Please share Brianne's story with as many people as possible. Tell them about the events we will be hosting in her honor.  We will also be posting fliers online for you to share on Facebook.
